Optimal Workload Distribution for Teleradiology
Teleradiology systems are formed based on the
productive and effective use of radiologists.
The target is to minimize the error rates in
reporting radiological imaging.
Certain criteria are considered while appointing
imaging to health professionals and
productivity is increased. These criteria are:
• Doctors’ specialization,
• Doctors’ experience,
• Doctors’ evaluation of all imaging
types,
• Doctors’ tiredness rate.
The optimal workload is determined through;
• Considering self-evaluation of doctors
by questionnaires offered to them,
• By ordering imaging appointed to
doctors from easy to complicated
cases,
• By determining the doctors’ tiredness
through data obtained from
eyefollowers.
